For the past 15 years, Greg has operated Snell Media, a business specializing in international travel photography tours and destination marketing. He is also the creator, co-owner and managing director, of both TRVL° Photography and Hidden Photo Tours. To maintain time with his family, Greg only personally leads five international travel photography trips each year, all of which are listed on this website’s Tours page.
Greg graduated from the College of the Rockies in British Columbia, Canada with a diploma in Adventure Tourism Business Operations. From working as a tour leader with G Adventures to winning Tourism Australia’s “Best Jobs in the World” competition, he has spent the past two decades exploring more than 80 countries and documenting life-changing experiences that ultimately led to launching his own destination marketing and travel company, Snell Media.
Today, Snell Media provides digital marketing services for travel industry professionals alongside adventure tours and travel photography workshops worldwide. Greg specializes in travel photography, cinematic video production, Adobe Suite editing, and drone operation as a fully certified EASA drone pilot. As a trained international adventure tour leader, he has operated travel photography workshops and tours globally since 2011.
Greg’s work and adventures have been featured on Global Television in Toronto, CTV, the Toronto Star, and Air Canada’s enRoute Magazine. His travels have taken him around the world, from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and skydiving over the Great Barrier Reef to swimming with penguins in Antarctica, working with Indigenous communities in coastal Ecuador, white-water rafting in Zambia, trekking the Tibetan Plateau, and exploring the glaciers of central Iceland.
An avid photographer and video producer, Greg documents his adventures through storytelling on YouTube and award-winning photography. He maintains a strong social media presence on Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, where he shares travel stories, photography insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from his expeditions.
