Itinerary

  • Arrival in Ushuaia at the End of the Earth.
  • Explore Tierra del Fuego and the amazing woodlands around Ushuaia.
  • Embark on the Sea Venture Boat and get ready to sail the Beagle.
  • Sail the Beagle Channel and into the famed Drake Passage.
  • Hopefully stop at the South Shetland Islands on route.
  • Arrive on the Antarctic peninsula and touch land for the first time.
  • Photograph the incredible landscapes & wildlife of Antarctica
  • Cross the Antarctic Circle at 66°33′47.5″ south.
  • Travel back via the South Shetland Islands depending on weather.
  • Cross the Drake and back into the Beagle Channel towards Ushuaia.
  • Depart Ushuaia headed for home with full memory cards.

The departure is called Crossing the Antarctic Circle with Polar Latitudes. Our specific date is 25th of January, 2025. There is a limited amount of space available so please message or email me directly to fill that last spot.

 

Follow the link above for more information on cabins, pricing, and the itinerary. The ship will be the MS Seaventure with a capacity of only 140 passengers. Perfect for Antarctica. Almost all other ships have well over this amount of passengers. 140 means we all get to do up to 2 landings per day if weather permits.

 

We will also have private zodiac access with just our group. 10 people with me and 10 with Nick. Nick’s wide Annelise will also be joining the trip, which is awesome! She is an accomplished photographer in her own right and will keep Nick in line.
